Tasker – Notepad Notes Organizer and Work Tracker is a simple board application designed to organize the flow of your work. It allows you to plan, track, and summarize tasks efficiently. The app supports the creation and management of multiple boards and offers backup and restore functionality to the cloud using OneDrive and your preferred Microsoft Account.

Balance your workflow by setting a work in progress to avoid bottlenecks. The Tasker application Board typically represents how work moves from left to right, with each column indicating a stage within the value stream.

Quickly create, edit, and drag tasks across columns to organize your workflow according to your needs. Your board can represent various things such as a project, a class, and more. You can assign tasks to any column, edit them, and move them to other columns as your workflow progresses. Once you’ve completed your board, you can easily delete it from the navigation menu, automatically removing any leftover tasks.

While managing your workflow, you can collapse specific columns to focus on more important tasks.

Tasker App Tutorial: How to Manage Your Tasks Efficiently

Step 1: Install and Launch the Application

  • After installing the Tasker app on your PC or laptop, open the application.

Step 2: Creating a New Board and Adding Notes

  • Click on the Plus (+) icon to create a new board.
  • Enter a name for your board.
  • Add your notes in the provided section.
  • Click Save to store your notes.

Step 3: Creating a Backlog Task

  • Click on the Backlog option to create a new task.
  • Enter a title for your task in the title box.
  • Use the notes box to add additional details.
  • Set priority levels and add tags if needed.
  • Choose date-related options, including:
    • Due date
    • Time
    • Reminders
    • Start date
    • Finish date
  • Click Save to store your task.
  • If necessary, you can delete the task using the Delete option.

Step 4: Managing Your To-Do Tasks

  • Click on the To-Do button to view tasks scheduled for the day.
  • Enter a title for your task.
  • Use the notes box to add extra details.
  • Set priority levels and add tags if needed.
  • Select date-related options, including due date, reminders, start and finish dates.
  • Click Save to store your task.
  • You can delete the task using the Delete option if needed.

Step 5: Updating Tasks In Progress

  • Click on the In Progress button to update the status of a task.
  • Enter a title for your task.
  • Use the notes box to add relevant details.
  • Set priority levels and add tags if needed.
  • Choose date-related options as required.
  • Click Save to update your task.
  • Use the Delete option to remove the task if necessary.

Step 6: Reviewing Your Tasks

  • Click on the Review option to evaluate completed tasks.
  • Enter a title for the task.
  • Use the notes box for additional details.
  • Set priority levels and add tags if needed.
  • Select the appropriate date options, including reminders and deadlines.
  • Click Save to finalize your review.
  • Use the Delete option to remove tasks if needed.

Step 7: Marking Tasks as Completed

  • Once you have finished all your tasks, click on the Completed button.
  • Write your task report.
  • Enter a title for your completed task.
  • Use the notes box for additional details.
  • Set priority levels and add tags if needed.
  • Choose date-related options, including due date, reminders, start and finish dates.
  • Click Save to store your completed task.
  • If needed, you can delete the task using the Delete option.

Step 8: Using the Task Calendar

  • Click on the Task Calendar icon to view all your created tasks.
  • Review the date and time of each task in the calendar view.

Step 9: Saving Your Tasks to the Cloud with OneDrive

  • Tasker supports cloud backup and restoration with OneDrive and your Microsoft Account.
  • Easily save all your tasks as a backup and restore them whenever needed.
